 Friday

Evening Venue

Whitworth Locke Storehouse - Basement

8pm - 1am

74 Princess St, Manchester M1 6JD

In the heart of Manchester's Civic Quarter sits our beautiful, intimate, first night venue. A lovely cosy start to the weekend where we can reconnect, dance and ease our way into the weekend ahead.

Young children welcome if supervised by adult/guardian at all times (see FAQ).

Drinks Policy:

For logistical reasons, we ask that people bring their own alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to the Friday venue

MMFX cannot provide drinks for everyone, however, we will provide a small number of soft (canned fizzy) drinks as a safety net for those that forget, or are unable to bring their own.

Evening Venue

The Stables

 9pm - 3:30am

18 Lower Byrom St, Manchester M3 4AP

Dance the night away beneath the exposed wooden beams, remnants of the building's historic life as a stable. This unique architectural detail adds a touch of rustic charm our experience. While the charm is historic, the comfort is modern!  Enjoy a refreshing drink from the fully stocked bar before returning to the dance floor.  And don't forget to check out the lovely outside patio area (not pictured) - a perfect spot to relax and socialise between dances.

Young children welcome if supervised by adult/guardian at all times (see FAQ).

Drinks Policy:

Bring your own water bottle (refill via the bar area), and/or support the venue by purchasing alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks from the bar.

Revolucion de Cuba

9pm - 2am

11 Peter St, M2 5QR

The final venue is the basement club room of Rev de Cuba. A definite Latin vibe with another stunning dance floor to end the weekend in style.

There is a beautiful bar serving latin inspired cocktails, beers, spirits, etc. Please do not bring your own drinks (other than water bottle, which may be checked on entry).

PLEASE NOTE: OVER 18s ONLY - NO CHILDREN

Being a licensed nightclub, they operate a 'challenge 25' policy - whereby if the door staff think you look under 25, you may need to produce photo ID to prove you are over 18. Please bring photo ID (drivers license, passport, other government issued photo ID) to avoid disappointment.

Drinks Policy:

Ticket price includes two selected alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks from the basement bar. The bar also serves a wide range of wine, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks (water is free at all times).

Please do not bring your own drinks. The door security team will check all bags and bottles brought into the venue.

 Monday

Daytime Venue

Around Manchester (TBA)

12pm - 5pm

Last year we had a lovely relaxing afternoon together starting with a big lunch at one of the finest artisan food halls, before venturing outside for a dance around the fountain. If the weather allows, we'll hopefully do something similar.

Considerations:

Safer Spaces

If at any point during the weekend you feel threatened, harassed or in any way mistreated, please raise with a member of the Care Team or a volunteer on the front desk. Your concern will be handled in the strictest of confidence (see Code of Conduct).

Sound Levels

MMFX is committed to protecting people's hearing in all venues.

This can only be done with collaboration between DJs and attendees. As such, DJs and teachers will keep music to a preapproved level on the basis that attendees do not engage in noisy/disruptive behaviour.

In place of clapping, attendees are encouraged to raise their arms and click fingers to protect the hearing of those around them.
